Heh, almost a week late in updating, but here it is. Opo368 is almost finish the Edelweiss, one of the many units and vehicles we'll be adding to the mod. Still a bit of work needed in adding doodads and goblins (radio, few more hatches, hooks, axels, etc.), but the basic shape of the first model (un-upgraded, i'll refer to it as Edelweiss ausferüng A) is done.
Comparison with models in CoH again (left to right): Tiger, Panther, and Panzer IV. They still have more detail, and alot more proportion issues -.- (CoH vehicles are not modeled to scale).For whatever reason, the tanks, especially the Panzer IV and the Panther are HUEG! Which would explain why the Edelwiess looks diminutive in the line ups :p
The complexity of the radiator and the mantle & sheild are thanks to alot of care >.> Hatches and the cupola aren't finished, amongst other things... Still debating whether or not we will make the upgraded versions of the Edelweiss-more armoured skirts, larger gun, different chassis-etc. It might be a little while longer until we get the thing textured...we have to learn how first xD
